“This nostalgic amateur recording of Armagedda in concert mirrors the irony of a mercilessly ambivalent endeavour in lo¬fi sound spectre which truly deserves the 'necro' attribute. Back in 2002 Armagedda played few gigs, but in contrast to many others, they had a concrete and despite their raw sound a quite sublime vision of traditional black metal – however it seems to me, and even more in retrospective, that the band had to challenge itself by experiencing its isolation in a scene already corrupted by commercial conformism and ebrious smugness on most levels.
